In the 'Elements' tab in the Shootsta HUB you can find footage from the Shootsta’s stock library and from your company’s own library 'My Elements'.

'My Elements’ is a great place to store videos and photos you want to use as cutaways across different projects or share with colleagues. For example footage of your offices, staff, products and services. This library is only visible to your company and Shootsta. Here is how you can

Let's us show you around on how you use the 'Elements' section in the HUB

How to add footage to your Elements Library

Step 1. Upload files

To add an element to your company’s library, click ‘new element'.

Drag and drop, or browse your computer for files that you’d like to upload. The Shootsta Hub will accept most file types. You can select multiple files at once or add them one by one.

⚠️ Make sure you don’t navigate away from this page or let your device go to sleep during upload, as it will interrupt the upload process and you will have to re-upload the files.

Step 2. Tagging files

Once your elements have uploaded, you are able to give them tags to make them easier to find in the future. There are two ways this can be done:

Bulk tagging

Want to tag all the uploaded elements with the same tag at once? Simply enter your chosen tag in the text box at the top of the page and then press 'Enter'. Each of your uploaded elements will now have this tag added.

Single tagging

Want to make a single uploaded element easier to find in the future by tagging it with something specific? Tags can be added to individual elements by typing them into the text box next to their thumbnail, then pressing ‘Enter’.

Once you have added all the appropriate tags, you are ready to save your new elements to your library. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the ‘SUBMIT’ button.

And that's all it takes! These elements will now be sitting in your Elements section ready to add to any future projects for your organisation.

How to make changes to certain Elements

Want to make changes to an element you’ve already uploaded? Simply select the 🖋pen tool to open the element settings.
