Uploading footage to the Shootsta HUB with a smartphone follows the same process as how to create a Video Project in the HUB using desktop.
1. Go to the Shootsta HUB and create a new project.
Open your internet browser, go to https://hub.shootsta.com and log in. OR open the Shootsta HUB app on the Mini Kit 3 iPhone and log in.
Go the to menu in the righthand corner and click '+ New Project'. Give your video project a name. If it is part of a video series, decide on a naming convention that’s nice and clear.
Any video project you create in the Shootsta Hub is visible to your company by default. If you select 'Make this video private', only you and Shootsta staff will see this video, no one else and you can change it at any time. Tick the box if you want to make the video private and then click start video.
2. Upload your footage
Press 'Browse' under 'Step 1. Upload clips' and select the footage that you would like to upload.
To ensure your video turnaround time, you can submit up to 25 minutes of footage and 50 files in total. For more details check out our What is a Shootsta Video? article. Need more? No problem! Check out our Video Add-ons offering.
️⚠️ Make sure you don’t navigate away from this page during the upload, as it will interrupt the upload process and you will have to re-upload the files. Once an upload is completed, a thumbnail will appear.
3. Save Draft or Submit
Now your clips have loaded, you can add elements or stock footage in 'Step 2. Select elements or stock' and add a detailed editing brief in 'Step 3. Brief your editor'.
We recommend saving your project as as draft and completing those steps and submitting your video for editing using a desktop. 🧑💻 You will be able to find your video project under the 'Still Building' section under the 'Video' tab.
If you 'Submit' your video, you will receive an email confirming your submission. Here is how you can track your video project's status.
