How to upload .SRT files to your video

SRT stands for ‘sub-rip text’. It is a seperate file to your video that contains the subtitles and the time codes of when they need to appear on screen.

.SRT files contain video subtitle information and when uploaded with your video, generate on-screen subtitles and captions.

Using subtitles on your video can greatly increase video engagement on social media as they capture users’ attention even when your video is muted. They also make any video accessible for the hearing impaired.
