How to Reopen a Completed Project and Request Changes

Approve and Complete

If you Approve your Video Project, Shootsta will transfer the status of your Project to 'Complete'. A Completed Video Project is one which you are happy with, and needs no further amendments done.

Auto-Complete

Any projects that have been inactive by you for 60 days, will be automatically completed. Don’t worry, we’ll give you plenty of warning before this occurs, and you can always re-open it after this happens.

Reopening a Completed Project

Normally once a project has been 'Completed', no further changes are required. However, we understand this is not always the case. You may have accidentally hit the 'Approve' button or perhaps a project slipped through the cracks, was idle, and then Auto-Completed by Shootsta. You can easily reopen this and pick up from where you left off. **Please note your project amendment number will not reset, but continue from where it was before completion.

To reopen a Completed Project,

1) Select your Completed Project (that you want to reopen). This will contain the master output and any additional outputs for this Project

2) Click the 3 dot action menu

3) Select 'Request Changes'. This will open the output for review, commenting, and feedback.

4) Add any change requests to the video by clicking anywhere on the video player

5) Click 'Request Changes' and fill in the reason for the changes

6) Click 'Submit Changes'

That's it!

Sit back and relax, we'll send you an email advising that we've received the changes, and you'll see your video appear back in the 'Editing in Progress' section. You'll then receive another one when it's been updated! Here are more details on how you can track your video projects.
