Step #1 for Project Owners and Users: What is a Shootsta Credit and How to Create a Project

Easily Create and Manage Your Professional Video Edits in Shootsta

Creating a Shootsta Pro Project

Shootsta Pro Projects allow you to submit video requests for high-quality editing through your dedicated Shootsta Production Team. To get started, it’s essential to understand how Shootsta credits work and how to initiate a new project.

Understanding Shootsta Credits

Shootsta Pro Projects are based on Shootsta credits, which are managed by your organization’s admin team. Here’s how they work:

  • One Shootsta credit roughly equals one video edit of up to 5 minutes in total output length.

  • You can upload up to 50 total assets (videos and photos) per project.

  • The raw video footage uploaded can total up to 25 minutes in length.

  • Each video edit includes one submission and up to five rounds of amendments from your production team.

*For any submissions that extend above and beyond the Shootsta Pro Credit parameters, your Production Team Lead will customise a quote for your Pro Project.

How to Create a Shootsta Pro Project

If you and your team have access to Shootsta credits, you can easily create a Pro Project by following these steps:

Option 1: From any page in your Shootsta Workspace

  1. Click New Project (in the top left corner).

  2. Select Pro from the list.

Option 2: From Your Pro Library

  1. Navigate to your Pro Library.

  2. Click New Project.

Once your project is created, you can upload your assets and submit them for editing by your Shootsta Production Team.

How to Get Access to Shootsta Credits

If you are unable to create a Pro Project, your organization may not have available Shootsta credits. To request access:

  1. Contact your company’s administrator or Shootsta account manager.

  2. Request additional Shootsta credits to be allocated to your team.

  3. If needed, your administrator can purchase more credits through Shootsta.

Once your team has access to credits, you will be able to create Pro Projects as needed.
