How do I download Cast?

How do I stop Cast opening when I don't want to use it?
You can prevent Cast from launching when you start your computer through the 3 action dots in the top right corner, navigate to 'preferences', and turn 'Launch on Start' to grey. Check out this article for more preferences you can manage.

I have got a problem with my Cast video.

How do I stop using the pen to click somewhere else on the screen?
When you begin using the the annotate pen, 'Clear' will display for when you wish to remove the annotation. Check out this article for more information on controls within Cast.

How do I send my Cast to your editors?
Cast can be used as a standalone app or if you would like to have a Cast edited, you can add any Casts created to a Shootsta Project for editing. From the 'Upload Assets' section of your Project, select the Cast you want added for editing.

How do I share a Cast so other people can comment/download?
Casts can be shared and collaborated on. To share your Cast (with someone who does not hold a seat in Shootsta), select 'Share Video' from the action dots menu, and adjust the access permission for 'view and comment'. To collaborate on a Cast with someone already in Shootsta, select 'Edit Collaborators' from the action dots menu, select the user and access permissions you wish to assign. Casts are downloadable from the download option in the Cast player controls.

Does Cast have a maximum recording limit?
No, Casts do not have time limitations.

Can I use Cast on a Windows computer?
Yes! Just download and install on your Windows device, and you are good to go!

Where can I find my Cast recording?
When you complete a Cast, it will prepare in your workspace in the Cast section.
